The Course

This course adopts a comprehensive approach to our CCNA Fast Track covering all aspects of the Cisco Authorised ICND1 and ICND2 courses. Our approach ensures that delegates are not only prepared for the intensive 5-day classroom training element of the programme but are supported pre and post-course. This is to ensure readiness for the intensive classroom course and to ensure the knowledge learnt can be applied practically within the working environment.

The delegates training experience begins prior to the course through the provision of interactive e-learning via our web based portal. The portal provides each delegate with their own private site offering information to help develop individual learning plans and track progress through each module.

The e-learning includes all elements of the ICND1 content providing the delegates with the theoretical knowledge required and reinforces learning through lab exercises and on-line mentoring. The e-learning also provides modular assessments to ensure that delegates only complete the areas of the course that they are unfamiliar with to maximise the use of their time, or repeat areas of the course where knowledge weaknesses are exposed. Access to an online CCNA Expert is provided through instant messenger or e-mail 24/7 to answer any questions the delegates may have and support their learning prior to attending the instructor-led classroom training component.

The classroom element of the CCNAFT is delivered by an industry leading authorised Cisco instructor and follows an intensive schedule of instructor-led training and hands-on labs with real equipment. The content of both the ICND1 and ICND2 is covered during the 5 day classroom session however by prior completion of the e-learning delegates are prepared for the intensive nature and higher-learning level required of the course. Delegates in addition are provided with access to the labs in the evening to provide additional practical experience and reinforcement of the day’s learning.

Post-course support is also provided via the following: Additional lab access for the subsequent weekend for each delegate

  • Access to all ICND1 e-learning for a further 11 months to practice exams
  • ICND1 and ICND2 Test Preparations ( see Note1 )

Delegates are also provided with e-mail access to our bank of authorised Cisco instructors who will provide answers to any questions relating the CCNA course content or the CCNA examination.

Who should attend?

  • Network technicians who configure and support inter-networks
  • Individuals seeking CCNA certification
  • Management and salespeople who need a working knowledge of modern networking

Prerequisites

The CCNA Fast Track course is ideal for delegates who have some networking knowledge or are looking to recertify as a CCNA.

We recommend that delegates who are not familiar with networking should attend the separate ICND1 and ICND2 courses as the CCNA Fast Track course is very intensive.

Course Outline

The delivery timeline is not precise and is dependent on the individual delegates attending the course and their prior knowledge and skill set.

Please note that due to the nature of the Fast Track programme the 5 day classroom element has extended days which will involve working beyond normal scheduled class times.
